Janson singing 'God is great' by Darlene Zschech

He keeps singing, '...and your name, will be praised, fill the earth, fill the heaven...'.
(Vid taken on Sunday, July 17, 2011, using Sony Ericsson XperiaX10 mini pro)

This is the original song by Hillsong

God Is Great Lyrics by Darlene Zschech

All creation cries to You
Worshiping in Spirit and in truth
Glory to the Faithful One
Jesus Christ, God's Son
All creation gives You praise
You alone are truly great
You are alone are God who reigns
For Eternity... (Y EAHHHH!!!!) woo ^_^

God is great And His praise
Fills the earth Fills the heavens
And Your name will be praised
Through all the world
God is great Sing His Praise
All the earth All the heavens
Cause we're living for the Glory of Your Name, Glory of Your Name

All to You oh God we bring
Jesus teach us how to live
Let your fire burn in us
that all may hear and all may see

God is great And His praise
Fills the earth Fills the heavens
And Your name will be praised
Through all the world
God is great Sing His Praise
All the earth All the heavens
Cause we're living for the Glory of Your Name, Glory of Your Name

Holy Is The Lord....
The whole earth sings
The whole earth sings... (x4)

God is great And His praise
Fills the earth Fills the heavens
And Your name will be praised
Through all the world
God is great Sing His Praise
All the earth All the heavens
Cause we're living for the Glory of Your Name, Glory of Your Name

God is good to me Oh what love I see Jesus as a Lamb was slain

God is good to me
Oh what love I see
Jesus as a Lamb was slain
He delivered me
Cleansed and set me free

Lord of All
He rose again!

Now I live yet not I
Jesus is alive in me
Sending the Spirit's flame
Showers of Latter Rain
God has poured His life on me!

The above lyric is a song that God put in my heart yesterday.

I believe He has given me this song as a birthday song to me.

New Every Morning -

The Lord's lovingkindness
Indeed will never cease
And His compassion
Will never fade away
They are new every morning
They are new every day
For great is Thy faithfulness
For great is Thy faithfulness

The Lord's amazing grace
It abounds to us every day
And His great mercies
Will never fade away
They are new every morning
They are new every day
For great is Thy faithfulness
For great is Thy faithfulness

He is able more than able - Now to him that is able to do... - Ephesians 3:20

A simple yet powerful song - one of my favourites scripture songs. It is based on Ephesians 3:20

He is able more than able
To accomplish what concerns me today
He is able more than able
To handle anything that comes my way
He is able more than able
To do much more than I could ever dream
He is able more than able
To make me what He wants me to be

Matt Redman - Once Again - Thank You for the cross

A song suddenly came to me while I was busy at work. At first, only the tune came but not the words.

Then, I stopped my work and started to hum in my heart, 'La, la, la, la, la, la, la...once again, I thank You...once again, I poured out my life...'

'Ahh...now I know what song is that..,' I thought to myself and began to praise God for His mercy. After that, I felt energised and continued with my work.

I am reminded of Simon Peter, Jesus' disciples when I sing the words of this song:
And once again I look upon the cross where You died
I'm humbled by Your mercy and I'm broken inside
Once again I thank You,
Once again I pour out my life

Late one night, after toiling all night and having caught nothing, Simon and his two other fishermen friends, James and John, decided to throw their nets into the deep because Jesus told Simon to do so. When Simon saw the great multitude of fishes, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, 'Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.'

Simon must have felt unworthy to receive such a bountiful blessing.

He was humbled by Jesus' mercy and broken inside. Thus, he fell down at Jesus' knees and begged the Lord to depart from Him.

Jesus, in all His mercy, did not reject Simon. Instead, He accepted him and said, And Jesus said unto Simon, 'Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. '

From that day, Simon, James and John left their nets and followed Him.

The sinless Son of Man came into this world to save the sinful sons of men.

Survivor Records (2005)

Jesus Christ, I think upon Your sacrifice
You became nothing
Poured out to death
Many times, I've wondered at Your gift of life
I'm in that place once again
I'm in that place once again

And once again I look upon the cross where You died
I'm humbled by Your mercy and I'm broken inside
Once again I thank You,
Once again I pour out my life

Now You are exalted to the highest place
King of the Heavens, where one day I'll bow
But for now, I'll marvel at Your saving grace
I'm full of praise once again
I'm full of praise once again

Thank You for the cross
Thank You for the cross
Thank You for the cross, my friend

Joy to the world: Worship video with lyrics

This 'Joy to the world' Christmas carol has all the four stanzas that give the song its full meaning. Personally, I like the third and fourth line of the third stanza the most - 'He comes to make His blessings flow, Far as the curse is found, Far as the curse is found, Far as, Far as the curse is found.

Keith Green - The Lord Is My Shepherd (23rd Psalm)

The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul
And guides my path in righteousness
For His name's sake.

Surely goodness and loving kindness
Shall follow me al the days of my life.
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever and ever and ever.

Though I walk through the valley
Of the shadow of death
I will not fear, Thou art with me.
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table
Before me in the presence of my enemies.

Thou anointest my head with oil
My cup's overflowing

Surely goodness and loving kindness
Shall follow me al the days of my life.
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever and ever and ever.

Liang Zhi Lao Hu with Pinyin Lyrics: Two tiger one without eye tail

Unsure of the 'pin yin' for title of the Chinese song, I just Google 'two tigers one without eye tail'.

For sure, there were relevant results. Among them was a result of two videos on youtube. One entitled 'Liang zhi lao hu cartoons' (a slightly vulgar version with the tiger saying, 'WTF!!?' in bubble talk) and the other, 'Liang Zhi Lao Hu' (a decent version with Pinyin Lyrics).

Below is a video clip showing Janson dancing to the song. It was taken sometime in September '09.

Pinyin Lyrics:
liang zhi lao hu, liang zhi lao hu
pao de kuai, pao de kuai
yi zhi mei you yan jing, yi zhi mei you wei ba
zhen qi guai, zhen qi guai

English Translation:
Two tigers, two tigers,
run fast, run fast.
One has no eyes, one has no tail.
So strange. So strange.

Beethoven Ode to Joy! Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee - The Story Behind The Song

Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee is one of my favourite hymns.

I love the words of this song that draw us to worship the Creator, Centre of unbroken praise!

For the story behind the song, click here to go to 101 hymn stories.

  1. Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee,
    God of glory, Lord of love;
Hearts unfold like flow’rs before Thee,
    Op’ning to the sun above.
    Melt the clouds of sin and sadness;
    Drive the dark of doubt away;
    Giver of immortal gladness,
Fill us with the light of day!
  2. All Thy works with joy surround Thee,
Earth and heav’n reflect Thy rays,
Stars and angels sing around Thee,
    Center of unbroken praise.
Field and forest, vale and mountain,
    Flow’ry meadow, flashing sea,
    Singing bird and flowing fountain
Call us to rejoice in Thee.
  3. Thou art giving and forgiving,
    Ever blessing, ever blest,
Wellspring of the joy of living,
    Ocean depth of happy rest!
Thou our Father, Christ our Brother,
    All who live in love are Thine;
Teach us how to love each other,
Lift us to the joy divine.
  4. Mortals, join the happy chorus,
    Which the morning stars began;
Father love is reigning o’er us,
Brother love binds man to man.
    Ever singing, march we onward,
Victors in the midst of strife,
    Joyful music leads us Sunward
In the triumph song of life.

How precious did that Grace appear, the hour I first believed

Singing the second stanza of the song 'Amazing Grace' this morning reminded me of the time Christ appeared to me and I accepted Him as my Lord and Saviour. I was only 10 years old then.

T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear
The hour I first believed.

Jesus Christ, God's only Son, was the Grace who appeared to me.

By His grace, I will enter eternity just like the last line of the third stanza of the song that says, 'and Grace will lead me home.'

Keith Green - You Are The One - THE WAY! THE TRUTH! THE LIFE!

How I love you,
You are the one,
You are the one.
How I love you,
You are the one for me.

I was so lost,
But you showed the way,
'Cause you are the way.
I was so lost,
But you showed the way to me.

How I love you,
You are the one,
You are the one.
How I love you,
You are the one for me.

I was lied to,
But you told the truth,
'Cause you are the truth.
I was lied to,
But you showed the truth to me.

How I love you,
You are the one,
You are the one.
How I love you,
You are the one for me.

I was dying,
But you gave me life,
'Cause you are the life.
I was dying,
And you gave your life for me.

How I love you,
You are the one,
You are the one.
How I love you,
You are the one,
God's risen Son,
You are the one for me.

Hallelujah,
You are the one,
You are the one.
Hallelujah,
You are the one for me.

How I love you,
You are the one,
You are the one.
How I love you,
You are the one for me.

His praise fills the temple...

This song came to me this evening as I was leaving the office building and walking to my car across the road:

His praise fills the temple
His peace fills my heart
His joy and His glory
He did wondrously impart
The blest name of Jesus
Brought me freedom from sin
Now His praise fills the temple
And His spirit dwells within!

EVERY MOVE I MAKE: Waves of mercy, waves of grace

Two or three years ago, Jesus put this song in my heart on my birthday.

Na-- na-- na na na na na
(3X)

Every move I make
I make in You
You make me move, Jesus
Every breath I take
I breathe in You

Every step I take
I take in You
You are my way, Jesus
Every breath I take
I breathe in You

Waves of mercy
Waves of grace
Everywhere I look
I see Your face
Your love has captured me
Oh my God, this love
How can it be

I Live - Rich Cook

I live, I live because He is risen
I live, I live with power over sin
I live, I live because He is risen
I live, I live to worship Him

Thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus
Because You're alive
Because You're alive
Because You're alive I live

This old and not-so-well-known song came to me this morning.
