Gmail rulez but boo to Yahoo!

There is no wonder that Gmail is the preferred choice over Yahoo! mail. Besides less spam and a much neater interface, the former is free from ads as opposed to the latter.

Yesterday, I found out from a colleague (that shows I seldom Yahoo!) that even the online media blitz of BN to woo voters had found its way into the home of Yahoo! mail.

What a cash-rich BN is, using the rakyat's money to advertise in Yahoo!

What Love means to a 4-8 year old

Though I've read these 'love' definitions by kids before, reading them again is indeed refreshing.

Health: Of Apple and Pear

I am 32 going on 33...

No, I'm not growing vertically in age but horizontally in waist!

So, I have to do away with most, if not all, my size 32 pants.

Ah well, I hope to shed some kilos off my middle kingdom but just too lazy to do sit-ups.

I do walk 3 minutes to work nonetheless and take the stairs to my sixth-floor office on weekdays.

In The Star Online yesterday, its 'Health' talked about 'Targeting abdominal fat'.

A paragraph read:

Mine is certainly an apple!

Barisan has abused the two-third majority and amended the Constitution 50 times, many amendments containing multiple amendments, adding up to a total of 700 amendments!!!!! According to Haris Ibrahim at a SS2 Petaling Jaya ceramah, "A Member of Parliament upon joining the Parliament, take an oath to defend, uphold and preservere the Constitution. However, every BN (Barisan Nasional) MP has cooperated in dismantling our document systematically. In the process, taken away our rights. In the process, taking away our Constitutional Institutions" (edited).

He also gave a battle cry "Barisan Harapan Rakyat (Coalition of Hope for Malaysians)". Let us hope that this can become a reality and stop the rot in Malaysia. In the meantime, the two-third majority MUST BE TAKEN AWAY from the BN (Barisan Nasional). Of course, we hope that this "Barisan Harapan Rakyat (Coalition of Hope for Malaysians)" can form the next government after polling day.

Rocket, Moon & Eye

Went to Mid Valley this morning. MJ went there to meet her ex-manager, Ms. Koid. I tagged along. Hehe. That's one of the husband's jobs.

We chatted at McDonald's. I was surprised to hear from Ms. Koid that her brother was going to contest in the state seat of Sungai Pinang in the next general election under the DAP ticket. Besides that, she said she had another brother, a USA permanent resident, who would come back to Malaysia to vote in every general election.

As for me, my only regret is not being conscious of my right and responsibility to vote in the past.

Whenever people ask which party I stand for, I will say, 'Rocket, moon & eye.'

Enough is enough. The majority is not always right!
