What you should know about Facebook's changes - CNN.com - U like "Like" buttons to be all over the Internet?

San Francisco, California (CNN) -- Facebook announced some changes on Wednesday that are intended to make the Internet more social. Essentially, Facebook is stretching out into the rest of the Web.
But what do these new features actually mean for everyday people who use the Internet?
And when you see these Facebook-looking features popping up on other Web sites, how do you know what to do with them?
Here's a quick guide, based on a comments by Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook's founder and CEO, and interviews with developers who create applications for the massively popular social-networking site:

"Like" buttons

Buttons with the word "like" and a thumbs-up icon on them are going to start popping up all over the Internet. By clicking one, you indicate that you find the content interesting, relevant or helpful. Basically, you would recommend it to a friend.
Before Wednesday, "like" buttons only were on Facebook. Now, they'll be all over the place, including on this site. When you click one, you post the item -- whether it's a blog post, photo or celebrity web page -- to your Facebook news feed.

Anwar also belittled the publicity surrounding the defections from PKR, particularly in the lead up to the upcoming by-election, saying that those who left were nobodies, reminding the audience that Umno too had a string of defections in its illustrious history, and from much higher ranking members. Among them were Umno's first president Onn Jaafar, and second president Tunku Abdul Rahman who both quit the party. After that, the third president, Najib's father, Abdul Razak Hussein died and the fourth president, Hussein Onn, also quit, Anwar noted.

I don't think PM Najib believes in his own goal of 1Malaysia. Ooops...Is it his own goal or Apco's goal?

Why do I think that he does not believe in the goal of 1Malaysia? Reason being he cannot even convince his own deputy who prides in being "Malay first". He said, “Everybody has their roots, and I am Malay. But in my heart, I am Malaysian...” It's like saying, "I am Tongkat Ali but I am Ginseng inside!"

I have on April 20 resigned as producer for ntv7's talk show 'Editor's Time'.

I am dissatisfied on the way the company has handled two complaints which came from the Prime Minister's Department and the First Lady (Rosmah Mansor). The complaints came after the airing the programme's Kuala Lumpur roadshow (March 19) and Penang roadshow (April 8).

The company, without conducting due investigation, set unreasonable restrictions for the talk show on the issues to be discussed as well as those to be invited as panel speakers.

P Kamalanathan a ghost? BN candidate a 'phantom' voter?

BREAKING NEWS Selangor exco Xavier Jayakumar has accused P Kamalanathan of being a 'phantom voter' in the Sungai Siput constituency.

Malaysiakini carried out a check on the Election Commission (EC) website with the IC data provided.

The result shows the following facts:
1. IC no belongs to one P Kamalanathan.
2. He is a voter in the Sungai Siput parliament constituency and Jelong state assembly seat.
3. This Kamalanathan address is Heawood Garden.
4. He votes in Simpang Tiga.
