Muhyiddin spot on! Info from PM's Office can't be true! Can't trust the source

September 18, 2011

A screen grab of the notice that appeared on a Bangladesh government website.
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 18 — Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has denied claims that the Barisan Nasional (BN) government has given Bangladeshi workers here citizenship in exchange for their votes.
PKR called for a probe into claims in a Bangladesh government website that its citizens were offered Malaysian nationality for their support, adding it reinforced earlier complaints made to the Election Commission (EC).
“It’s not true. I don’t know whether the sources are trusted or not but obviously (it is) something which is not true,” the deputy prime minister told reporters after opening the Makkal Sakti Convention at the Putra World Trade Centre here.

Perhaps, Muhyiddin is really telling us the truth. Statements that appear in the official website of the Primie Minister's office is not true and the sources cannot be trusted. Not only Najib but Sheik Hasina cannot be trusted as well!

The one question that we really need to ask is:
Why the sudden removal of the statement or news item from the website?

The Bangladeshi-votes-for-citizenship claim must be true!

ISA repealed is nothing until “institutionalised ethnic discrimination” abolished

As usual, Najib wanted to score points for himself when he said ISA repealed to make M'sia the best democracy.

The Economist says well done Najib but…

Janson loves watching his fave Peppa Pig episode named 'Camper Van'!!

Norlaila Othman, GMI activist, only believed "5 percent" of what Najib said!!

After Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's announcement yesterday that the Internal Security Act, which allows detention without trial, will be repealed at an unspecified date, the Abolish ISA Movement (GMI) called on the government today for a public apology from the government to all former detainees of the Internal Security Act 1960 and fork out compensation for their sufferings and their captors face justice.

gmi pc 110310 syed ibrahim GMI chief Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh said, "The government must apologise to all victims of ISA and pay gratuity equivalent to torture and sufferings of the victims and their families. Also, all those involved in torturing and abusing ISA detainees face justice."

At a joint press conference with human rights NGO Suaram, Syed Ibrahim (right) said the figure may differ from detainee to detainee, depending on the length of detention and loss caused by it, be it through termination of employment or emotional trauma.

In 2007, former detainee Abdul Malek Hussin was granted compensation of RM2.5 million by the High Court for his around two months detention under the Act.

NONEAccording to Norlaila Othman (left) whose son was 8 when his father Mat Sah Mohd Satray was detained under ISA from 2002 to 2009, families have broken up because of detentions, with some children of detainees suffering from trauma induced mental illnesses.
The plucky activist said, "After many years, people still see my husband as a terrorist. Who will clear his name?"

The GMI activist added that the public apology could also help clear the name of her husband and other former detainees, whose charges were never proven in court. After being "lied to" about Mat Sah's release for eight years, Norlaila said that she could only bring herself to believe "5 percent" of what Najib had said, and only so that she can "savour the excitement".

Najib only took over Pak Lah as Umno president & by default, became PM

Najib is not my PM.

He no mandate from the rakyat.

He's probably the first 'illegal' PM in Malaysia.

Najib, just doing his job as the 'Umno-appointed' PM.

Everything is for the survival of Umno and nothing for the rakyat.

Lucky Bangladeshis get Malaysian citizenship & can vote as Malaysians!!!

Well, I happened to see a post in my Wall in Facebook yesterday that pointed to the Bangladesh website.

Here's the history to prove it.
Then, I visited the site http://www.ngoab.gov.bd/Main.php?Id=66 and read about the 'FREE' citizenship!
Of course, by now if you were to go to http://www.ngoab.gov.bd/Main.php?Id=66, there's a message that says, 'No Item to show!'

Too bad, I didn't do a print screen the first time I visited it at 10:50 PM yesterday. Didn't know that it would turn out to be a 'HOT' item but if you google for http://www.ngoab.gov.bd/Main.php?Id=66, you can still see a snap shot of the original posting with something to show!
If you download the snap shot, you will see this:

Najib, credit neither BN nor PR. It is only right to remove these archaic laws

September 17, 2011
SHAH ALAM, Sept 17 — No one else should take credit for the law reforms mooted by Barisan Nasional (BN) two days ago which saw the repeal of the Internal Security Act (ISA) and other restrictive laws, Datuk Seri Najib Razak said today.
In apparent reference to Pakatan Rakyat (PR) claims that BN had lifted the idea from the opposition’s Buku Jingga manifesto, the prime minister said the decision to scrap the ISA was part of his promise to amend the controversial law when he took office in 2009.
“These are not the fruits of their struggle. This was a decision made by the Barisan Nasional government because we listened to Malaysians who want this change,” Najib (picture) told some 600 BN supporters at Universiti Teknologi Mara here.
He said that the law reforms would put Malaysia on the right track to becoming a more open and progressive democracy while ensuring harmony.
On Thursday night, the prime minister announced the repeal of the ISA and the three Emergency Declarations when both the Dewan Negara and Dewan Rakyat have their next sitting.
He said new laws will be enacted to protect the peace, harmony and security of the country.
He also announced that the government will do away with annual printing and publishing permits with permits that can be cancelled if regulations are flouted.
PR has claimed credit for the bold move, which it said was the result of sustained opposition pressure.
Najib stressed today the need for a stable government and urged the mainly Indian crowd to throw their support behind the ruling coalition to ensure the country’s future prosperity.
“If politics in our country is in a state of flux... and we do not have political stability, it will affect the country badly,” he said, adding that any lack of stability would put off foreign investors.
He said if Malaysians could show strong support for the government, the effect on the economy will be tremendous and jobs would be guaranteed.
Najib added that BN would look after the people’s welfare, and promised that the ruling coalition will continue to address the problems faced by the Indian community.
He later received some 7,000 BN membership forms from former Selangor PR members.
