LATEST!!! WHY ALI WAS BARRED

Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak today said he believes that Mohd Ali Rustam will accept the Umno disciplinary committee's decision to bar him from contesting in the party polls amicably.

The disciplinary committee has this afternoon announced that Mohd Ali, who is also the Malacca chief minister, is to be barred from vying for the deputy president post due to his agent's involvement in money politics.

According to the incoming Umno president, Mohd Ali's post as chief minister is not affected by today's decision.

The powerful committee also suspended the membership of 10 members, including a state Umno Youth chief, for three years.

Moving on, Najib dropped more hints, this time in relation to the upcoming Umno polls.

He said success in an organisation for a chief executive - in the private sector and civil service - was picking 'the right man for the job'.

The deputy premier said he was more inclined to have someone who displays 'integrity and ability' while placing 'loyalty' as the last criteria.

"If someone is loyal to the boss but does not have any integrity and ability, then the boss can fall because of him," he said.

So, is that why? Even though Ali is loyal, he does not have integrity and ability? Thus, Najib is afraid that he will fall because of Ali...WUAHAHAHAHA
