Our children are sacrificed because the BN wants to win one by-election

Well, this is indeed a sad day. Sad because obviously we don't have visionary leadership in this country, able to see far into the future and determined to do what is best for our children. Sad, because the leadership that we have do not have the spine to stand up to minority interests. Sad, because our children are sacrificed because the BN wants to win one by-election (which they will probably STILL lose anyway).

Marina Mahathir on the decision of government to reverse the policy of teaching Science and Mathematics in English.

Now you know why the Chinese educationist insisted on having the two subjects being taught in Chinese parallel to the PPSMI. You see the Chinese and Indians KNOW UMNO does everything out of greed or political expediency. WE have chosen to opt out of this nonsense for our young children. Since children are most impressionable WE do not want to expose our kids to UMNO's 'Ketuanan' shit which acts as a cover for their greed and political convenience. WE hope that by the time our kids go the SMKs they have been immunized against UMNO's virus of deceit and racism. To all you non-Malays who supported the PPSMI in the name of national cohesiveness among the races, I can't help but to laugh at your naivety.

Listen here.

1. All non-Malay parents must ensure their kids are functional in Chinese/Tamil, Malay and English in Malaysia for this is what really gives non-Malays an edge over the Malays in the real world of the private sector. The private sector can only get bigger than the 'Malay Economy' as the government starts running out of resources to sustain the civil servants and GLCs.

2. Never delude yourselves into thinking a Malay is stupid and lazy. Many Malays are now able to perform better the non-Malays in complicated jobs. What stops them from going further is their lack of Chinese or English which puts them at a disadvantage when it comes to promotion opportunities.

3. This latest PPSMI flip-flop demonstrates that the government cannot be trusted to do anything right. If the government can flip-flop here they can also choose to kick the non-Malays out of Malaysia on the grounds that we are not Malays. Prepare your kids for that eventuality. Equip them with the necessary language skills to survive in a different environment.

The non-Malays have been able to survive so far in Malaysia because of our ability to be multi-lingual. Never allow UMNO to tell you otherwise.
