Why do I now take a personal interest to know more about this disease? Reason being this morning, my son was diagnosed of having it.
Well, what are the signs and symptoms?
It begins with a mild fever, feeling of being unwell and sore throat. One or two days after the fever begins, painful sores begin in the mouth. They are usually located on the tongue, gums and inside of the cheeks. Skin rash develops over 1 to 2 days with raised red spots or blisters. It is not itchy and is located on the palms of the hands, soles of the feet , or even the buttocks. The mucosal and skin lesions heal in 5 to 7 days , whereas the lesions on the hands and feet heal within 5 to 10 days.
Nevertheless, thank God that Janson is recovering fast and well. He is much more active compared to his lethargy last night.
