Muhyiddin Yassin wants both the parties who are embroiled in a dispute over the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) issue to resolve the matter amicably.
The deputy prime minister said quarrelling in the open would not only affect BN chances in the Permatang Pasir state by-election but also mar the image of the government and its leaders.
"It's better for them to resolve the matter amicably," he told reporters after visiting the Bukit Kepong town, and meeting the residents in the area today.
