Malaysiakini reported that initially, the poll saw an overwhelming number of respondents denouncing the legislation as draconian and calling for its repeal.
Suddenly, in a matter of two days, there was an increase of 17,000 responsdents in favour of the government's move to review the law. The increase led led some to wonder if the poll had been tampered with.
