Faizal Abdullah, deputy CEO of the parent company of KDSB said:
"I heard-lah, in MCA there are a lot of problems... he has to show something mah, so make us the scapegoat," said Faizal, but never naming Ong directly.
"You know, I wanted to laugh when he said his life was threatened by the underworld... Aiyo! You've received such a threat and you never lodge a police report!
"Do you need Lim Kit Siang to do it for you? Aiyo! Shame-lah! At first he said it was a SMS, then he said it was a letter. He couldn't differentiate the two. Peninglah!"
