Malaysiakini reported:
Husam, 50, did not wait too long after announcing his candidacy to fire his first salvo against the incumbent for endorsing secret meetings with Umno to form a unity government in states where BN had lost to Pakatan in the general election last year.
“I think the incumbent deputy president (Nasharuddin) is liberal too but he is too liberal (towards) Umno and this is unacceptable. In my opinion, PAS should be in the middle instead of opening up to Umno and saving it,” he had said.

Just commented in A M Ubaidah S blog and was accused of being Husam's cyber trooper. The reason? I posted my opinion that the guy was trying to do a reverse psychology on PAS member about Husam ( Husam actually a pro UMNO guy is the insinuation!)and that guy plus an umno fella was pretty irked with me. Must have hit the nail on the head. The MSM did a huge blunder in supporting the UMNO fraction in PAS and now a serious damage control is needed. That's the Achilles heel of the MSM, too much sucking up and fighting for brownie points. They forgot that this is war and your secret plan should not be revealed in the main newspaper.... Bad luck for UMNO but a great help for PR and PAS. UMNO plans will go down the drain if Husam is elected... It's nail biting time for UMNO.
