MACC's interrogation hours: Appeal tomorrow

The court will hear an appeal against a landmark ruling which restricted the MACC's interrogation period to office hours only.

The landmark ruling was a result of a suit filed by DAP's Kajang councillor Tan Boon Hwa on July 22. In the suit, Tan questioned the legitimacy of the MACC in questioning him between 9.45pm on July 15 and 2.53am on July 16 and claimed that the MACC had falsely imprisoned him when he was detained and questioned at odd hours.

Why is MACC dying to fight for the right to question at odd hours?

MACC is so ineffective and inefficient in combating corruption.

What is the use to work round the clock when all you catch is just 'ikan bilis'??? Useless MACC!!!!
