Khariy, nobody said court decision absolved Bersih!

So, now it's official.

Remember, Umno was once ruled illegal by a judge. On February 4, 1988, when delivering his judgment, the then High Court Judge, Justice Datuk Harun Hashim said, "'It is a very hard decision to declare UMNO unlawful. But the law was made by our Parliament and certainly UMNO was aware [of the Societies Act] because they were in the majority [in Parliament] at all times [when the law was made]. Under the 1966 Act, amended five times over the years, and most recently by Mahathir's government, each of the society's branches has to register separately with the Registrar...."
