Bala has signed a statutory declaration dated 1/7/2008 in which he confirms that when Razak Baginda was arrested, Bala was with him. Bala swears that Razak Baginda sms’ed Najib.Bala swears that at about 7.30 am, Najib sent the following sms to Razak Baginda :
“I’m seeing IGP at 11.00a.m. today…matter will be solved…be cool”
