PUTRAJAYA: Opinion polls do not necessarily reflect the sentiments of the people, Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said.
“We can’t take the results too seriously and it depends on who the people interviewed were.
“It may not be the view of most Malaysians,” he said during the Prime Minister’s Hari Raya open house here yesterday.
He was commenting on a Merdeka Centre poll that reported Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s approval rating as having dipped to 59% in August from 65% previously.

So, if we can't take opinion polls too seriously, should we also not take the opinions and statements from Umno ministers who 'tell the truth and nothing but the truth' too seriously?
