This sports-betting-licence-approval issue looks like it's not going to end anytime soon.
Malaysiakini has two reports today - 'Berjaya hits back, insists it has approval' and 'Khairy presses gov't to clarify sports betting license'.
Khairy went on to challenge Pakatan governments to shut down all gambling premises in the states they control and added by saying, "Don't say it's not practical (to close down the premises). If you (Pakatan) tell (the government to) revoke the sports gambling licence, then show you stand for the principle all the way. If not, then it's only for political mileage for them to go halfway."
Oh why Khairy is so unhappy about the move by Pakatan governments to ban sports betting? Who is Khairy? He's not even a Minister lah. Who is he to talk about the governance of a state? Even PM Najib said not an easy job to be a PM. So, you think so easy to do away with all vices started by Umno-led government in the twinkling of an eye? Can 1Malaysia do away with inequality? The 30% quota?
