If you want your country to be successful, then you cannot be nationalistic about Bahasa Malaysia

The Malaysian Insider reported:

Non-Malays unpatriotic for neglecting BM, says ex-editor

The question is:

Does Ahmad Rejal want Malaysia to be successful?

If non-Malays, particularly the Chinese and Indians, work earnestly and contribute to the nation economically, does it really matter if they speak fluently in just their own mother tongues, English or any other language besides the Malay language? Why question the non-Malays?

Does Ahmad Rejal know that the Chinese in Indonesia feel estranged from their own country though they adopt Indonesian names and speak in Indonesian daily? I've a friend who is an Indonesian Chinese who is also my ex-colleague. He once told me that the Chinese Indonesians no longer felt belonged to Indonesia!

Sorry I disagree with you, for economic aspect probably yes but long run stability no. Nationalistic is something deep in heart, can't just simply throw it away.

Without common language, race gap become wider. Malays will see Chinese especially, like economic animals, wild and dangerous.

Live is something more than just 'cari makan'. It's about understanding, sharing and respect.
