Umno has been urged to postpone its annual general assembly slated for March 24 until after the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) completes its probe into the allegations of money politics in the party.
Speaking at a press conference in Petaling Jaya today, former Umno Youth exco Mazlan Haron and Umno Muar delegate Kadar Sulaiman said they are prepared to apply for a court injunction to stop the meeting if the leadership does not defer the meet.

However, the duo said they will wait for the leadership’s reaction first before deciding on the legal action.

Mazlan and Kadar also disputed the statement made by Prime Minister and Umno president Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Feb 25 that Umno will not launch an internal probe because MACC had closed its investigations on 45 reports.

"How can he (Abdullah) decide that all the reports and cases have been closed while Mazlan and myself as complainants were never called to give a statement," said Kadar.

hehe sounds like MACC has a pact with Pak Lah???? Woah! Talk about taking quick action against Khalid Ibrahim but report against the PM and DPM has been classified as 'NFA' - No Further Action????
