Khir Toyo defends protesters over 'stupid' cow

As far as he is concerned, the controversy surrounding the cow-head protest is just a big misunderstanding over a 'stupid' animal.

Khir is on the road to self-destruction by defending the protestors.

Symbolically, what the moon is to the Muslims is what the cow is to to the Hindus. Don't tell me Khir doesn't know that? Is he stupid or smart? Worst of all or stupidest of all, he said people had turned it into a RACIAL issue. HELLO! He can't even tell the difference between race and religion. How smart!

The primary purpose of the protest was to protest against the relocation of a Hindu temple to a Muslim-majority area. That means no Hindu temple. So, the cow head 'popped in' to further protest (and in the process, offended the Hindus). This is clearly a RELIGIOUS issue.

Even Khir's 'head', Hishamuddin, has turned from defending the protestors. Also, his 'BIG head' PM said Muslims must not insult other religions.

Where is Khir going to hide his head?

Shame on you! Hisham

As a Muslim, I felt disgusted when Home Minister Hishamuddin Hussein chose to stand with the protesters who caused a national uproar. A group of Muslims use an animal sacred to another religion and incite racial tensions, and yet he says the protesters should not be blamed?

He even had the cheek to say that the protesters "had no intention at all to bring the cow's head and invoke racial sentiments or cause tension."

"What nonsense? It is an insult to our intelligence, let alone us Muslims! Is this the kind of Islamic justice we are portraying? No wonder there is so much misunderstanding about Islam.

Building a temple among Muslim/Malay majority area is not acceptable to the protestors? We have so many places in Malaysia where temples, mosques and churches are built near to each other. I don't see anything in Quran or Hadith that says it is wrong.

I see mosques being built in non-Malay majority areas, so can non-Malays now protest if we are to built a mosque in a non-Malay majority area?

Take a hypothetical situation. If they are to step on our beloved Quran or bring a swine's head into the compound of a mosque to protest, can Hishamuddin say that we cannot blame the protesters for doing so ?

When other people have been detained under the ISA and arrested for attending candle light vigils or wearing black T-shirts, how can the home minister say we cannot blame a group of protesters with a very clear intention of inciting racial and religious sentiments?

Worse, it is done during Ramadan which we Muslims observe as a holy month, and this act of insulting another religion is still acceptable by the Home Minister's standard?

No wonder the non-Malays and right-thinking Muslims have turned their support away from BN when such statements can come from a BN leader at a time it is talking about 1Malaysia ?

I hope the Home Minister has some sense left in him to act accordingly.

I do not side with any political party or bother much about politics but what I see being done by the current federal government nowadays is sickening.

I do not see justice being done even when they preach about it. This 1Malaysia concept is a joke!

Just look at how the government uses the police to enforce their own so-called justice and yet pretend not to see real crimes.
