The MIC president says that the former PM's views causes havoc in every by-election.
"The Prime Minister has the capability to appoint someone who can bring victory to BN. Only the Prime Minister has the final say on who should be the candidate," Samy Vellu told Bernama, when asked to comment on Mahathir's statement yesterday.
The former Prime Minister in an interview with Bernama had said that Mohd Isa Samad should not be nominated for the seat as he was suspended from Umno for three years since June 2005, for his alleged involvement in money politics.

While Dr M has the right to give his view, the MIC president also has the right to comment on Dr M's view. Personally, I still hold our ex-PM, Tun Dr M in high regard. As for Samy...hmm...I think he contributed a lot to the Indian community, no? So, I've no comments lor...I not Indian...
