UPDATED 6.26PM Amidst claims of a 'trigger-happy' police, another report was lodged today by a gunshot victim.
Container operator Shahril Azlan Ahmad Kamil, 26, alleged he was shot by police officers in Section 7, Shah Alam on April 16, 2009, after he came across a roadblock and panicked because the road tax of his Proton Wira had expired, sought to escape by reversing his Proton Wira away from them.

Asked why it had taken a year for Shahril to come forward with his grievance, Puspawati, one of his lawyers, said: "Many lay persons do not know what their rights are.
