PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim is still keeping the public in suspense over his claims that Umno had tried to entice defectors with RM2 million and lucrative government contracts.
At the a ceramah at Padang Perdana in Kota Bharu, Kelantan last night, he said, “I am waiting for Umno to respond, I am waiting for them say I am lying,” Anwar urged - in Kelantanese dialect - the crowd of 10,000 to “Ok semeta (be patient)” and wait for the opportune moment to present itself.
Like the night before, Anwar insisted that he has proof that certain PKR elected representatives that declared themselves as independents were lured by Umno agents and said he wanted to wait for them to deny it and then I will reveal it like a three-part act in a Hindi movie, drawing laughter from the crowd.
