Strangely, there's hardly any mention of nuclear power plant as part of the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) in the headline of local media. The closet that I can find is in Free Malaysia Today - 'Going nuclear: Get public support first'.
In the meantime, Bloomberg Businessweek has a news headlined 'Malaysia Plans Nuclear Power, Mass Rail Investments' regarding the open day of the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) on September 21.
And yes, for your information, according to ETP, by 2017, Malaysia will be the number one oil services hub in Asia and by 2020, there will be five GigaWatts (GW) of hydro capacity, 1.25GW of solar and a nuclear plant.
