Shaari Desa, the head of the firearms and detection unit in the Chemistry Department, testifying in the Aminulrasyid Amzah culpable homicide case has admitted to the court that he did not do a reconstruction of the incident and neither did he inspect the crime scene.
Shaari Desa, under cross-examination by lawyers M Athimulan and Salim Bashir, admitted that he is not a ballistics expert. He also admitted that reconstruction and a visit to the crime scene could be vital to the case to determine other factors in the movement of the bullets fired.
