Lie detector test? Get real, Surendran slams Datuk T, police
Written by N Surendran It was reported today that Shazryl Eskay Abdullah has called upon Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to take lie detector test over the Carcosa sex video. There is absolutely no need for Anwar to take any lie detector test.
As has been pointed out repeatedly, visual examination of the images in the video clearly show that the actor is not Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. The physical differences between Anwar and the actor in the video is obvious and unmistakable.
In the face of the unconvincing nature of the video evidence, what is the necessity of a lie detector test?
In any event, the 'Datuk T' trio, who are guilty of the criminal offence of exhibiting pornography in a public place, have no credibility whatsoever to make such a demand. In addition, one of the Datuk T trio is a former UMNO chief minister who was forced to resign under scandalous circumstances.
This is simply another attempt by Eskay and his co-conspirators to gain public support for their unbelievable allegation. And it follows the Datuk T trio's oath-taking fiasco last week which utterly failed to convince anyone that they are telling the truth.
As their campaign of villification falters amid public disbelief, Eskay and his cohorts are now relying on increasingly desperate and sensational tactics. It is a remarkable exposure of the Datuk T trio's twisted sense of justice and moral values that they see fit to isssue the lie detector demand to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim after having made false and scandalous allegations against him.
We note that copies of the CD are now being mailed throughout the country in a vicious campaign of political assasination against Anwar Ibrahim.
We condemn the inaction and connivance of the police and the authorities with the exhibiting and distribution of the pornographic video, and call on the Barisan Nasional to end this type of low and sordid politics.
