Gap between rich and poor
The second to last paragraph of the article says:
The Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) of the Performance
Management and Delivery Unit (Pemandu) has focused on major development
and investment projects. It is now the time for them to work towards
the elimination of poverty to narrow the gap between the rich and the
poor.
Idris Jala once said his own village in Sarawak did not have electricity. By now, the ETP should have brought electricity to his own village. If not, the ETP has failed miserably.
