Actress Zahida Mohamed Rafik called her
former driver Noor Azman Azemi a liar and denied again that she was
linked to, and knowing Rural Development Minister Shafie Apdal who had last month also denied knowing Zahida.
“I want to know what else Noor Azman will be lying about again. Of course, they are all not true. I cannot say much so let my lawyers handle it. Let’s just wait,” Zahida (left) was quoted in the English daily The Star.

Yesterday Noor Azman claimed in a press conference
at the PKR headquarters that he was hired by Shafie to be Zahida’s
driver, and that the minister had given her RM1 million sometime last year during one of
their weekly meetings to be deposited into her account.
Besides it, the minister would give the actress between RM100,000 and RM200,000 weekly to pay for her house, credit card, two sports cars and other expenses.
The actress was reported to have lodged a police report on March 3 against Noor Azman for allegedly running away with RM200,000 and on March 13, Noor Azman lodged a counter report claiming Zahida had lodged a false report. He was remanded by the police for three days.
Yesterday, Malaysiakini tweeted Shafie for comments and is awaiting his response.
