SAMY THE MERRY MAN, ANWAR THE REFORM MAN - Bukit Gantang, Bukit Selambau, Batang Ai

Malaysiakini: Opposition sets target - win all 3 by-elections. Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim today urged party loyalists to continue the push for political change in Malaysia and strive for a win in three crucial by-elections next month. Anwar also said the opposition alliance will continue to fight corruption and help the poor.

While winning is just the first step, I hope Pakatan Rakyat will continue to sincerely serve the rakyat after so much talk to support its reform agenda. In the meantime, regarding the Bukit Selambau by-election, Samy said, "We welcome the independent candidates. The more, the better." His 'rationale'? So that BN will stand to gain. WUAHAAHA...so, it's all about gaining only lah - to win for the sake of winning, that's all. Read 'Samy: More independent candidates in Bukit Selambau will advantage BN'

I hope the target to win is like what Anwar said - to continue to fight corruption & help the poor.
