You can now preview ZIP and RAR archives without downloading them. When
you receive one of these types of archives, you’ll be able to browse
through the files contained in the archive, preview supported files in
Google Docs, and download selected items. This feature is also available
on Google Docs for mobile.

Languages included:
All languages supported by Google Docs
How to access what's new:
To preview any ZIP or RAR file in Gmail, click the ‘View’ button in the attachments area of the conversation. From here you can choose to download the file, preview in Google Docs, or print supported PDFs.
