When Jesus was on earth, nothing had changed. One day, some Pharisees and teachers of the law came to Jesus and asked, "Why do your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They don't wash their hands before they eat!"
Jesus called the Pharisees hypocrites and went on further to say, '"Don't you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man 'unclean.' For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what make a man 'unclean' but eating with unwashed hands does not make him 'unclean.' "
So, you see people, it's all in the mind...and heart.
Recently, the National Islamic Students Association of Malaysia condemned the uniform worn by school girls as being too sexy and encouraging rape and pre-marital sex. I wonder why the sudden condemnation? Is there any statistical study done that correlates sexual crimes and 'sexy' uniforms?
Eh, how often does a male doctor get to put the stethoscope on a female's chest or touch or see her body parts? Oh no, all male doctors are potential rapists too!
Let me tell you that if a MAN is not consumed by lust, he would not even rape a nude WOMAN standing in front of him. Maybe, he'll get all horny lah but then again, rape???

Whoever say female school uniform is sexy is really absurd.
Personally I have to give credit to my female friends who are wearing blouse-skirt (not forgetting the baju kurung and pinnafore as well) to protect themselves well in clothing. And yet they're so presentable in the school, without the need to draw attention from the males.
It's the rapist to be blamed. I just feel disgusted that somebody said this ridiculous thing.

This is the problem with the Malaysian in general, they only know how to critic but can't see the reason behind it.
Let me tell you something about islam. Islam is very different from any other religions or belief that are being practice in this world.
Islam can't only be understand neither through reading books or listening to speeches. It takes more than that to understand its beautiful true teaching as directed by Allah SWT trough His perfect human model prophet Mohd SAW.
I don't blame you, whom we called the "non-believer" for making unwelcome comments regarding this controversial issue.
What actually happened lately, this white blouse issue and other islamic matters are a positive indication that the muslim is in the process of returning to the right track of islam.
Matter of fact this women dress code has been around ever since the time of prophet Mohd SAW.
You see when the orders and rules of Allah SWT were not uphold, as Allah SWT has reminded again and again in the quran about the consequences, the time will come in this world that human as a result of their ignorant will face the catastrophe.
The question is can we bear the catastrophe with our limited capabilities without Allah SWT help?? So this what the muslim are doing, going back to right teaching in order to seek Allah SWT forgiveness and merciful help.
My advise to the non-muslim please stop your unwelcome comments or critics, rather open up your mind and heart to understand this important transition.

I agree with most of your points, Joshua, though not too sure about the parable. Not too keen about religion personally, feel that it is more trouble than of any tangible benefits.
Any self-respecting man should have enough respect for women, whether they are fully cladded or provocatively dressed, not to give in to his sexual urges.
It is pathetic if he needs his religion to impose restrictions on the freedom of women so as to prevent him from losing control.
Worse still, if he feels that others, even those who does not belong to his religion, should follow his bigoted view. Respect of opinion must be earned and on a mutual basis!

look at the statictics...look carefully..look where malaysia placed and look where japan placed..why i take this 2 country to compare..well first because i think both this countries is in asia.second japan is well known for its *ahem* you know...and the way they dress and also for perversion. but look at the statictics!!
