The system board and adapter were found to be faulty. Both were replaced. The lappie was ready for collection on 30 January.
I would like to think that the service given by HP was quite good but there's room for improvement.
For the convenience of customers, HP should consider the following two suggestions for improvement:
1. The service centre should be opened on Saturday. By doing so, customers who work from Monday to Friday do not need to take leave from work.
2. Provide on-site service.
