5.08pm: PERAK GOVERNMENT FALLS. Najib said at his press conference that the Barisan Nasional has the support of the four former Pakatan Perak assemblypersons - three will be "BN-friendly" Independents, while Nasarudin will rejoin Umno
Najib will meet the Perak Sultan as soon as possible. He said it is up to the sultan to decide on Nizar's request for dissolution of the assembly.
At the same venue, Nasarudin denied the claim that he had been abducted.
So, happy lah?
While his brother the top banker wants government to show economic leadership, he is busy doing just the opposite.
The top banker said, 'While fiscal and monetary stimulus provides a temporary boost to the economy, we also need strategic and proactive leadership to advance Malaysia's relative economic position in the new world order that will emerge from this crisis.'
So, now someone is happy while the country continues to suffer in this economic crisis.
