The nomination date for the Batang Ai seat will also be on the same day as the other two seats - March 29.The Batang Ai date was announced today EC chairperson Abdul Aziz Yusof in Kuching today.
Abdul Aziz said that the EC was confident of handling all three by-elections at the same time. The by-election is held following the death of assemblyman Dublin Unting Ingkot on Feb 24.
In the May 2006 state election, BN candidate Unting defeated Nicholas Bawin Anggat of the Sarawak National Party with a 806-vote majority.
