Now, they are talking about kampua mee in Sibu? Do Sibu folks not know that there is no non-halal food for non-Muslims in public food courts in hypermarkets? I'm not sure about hypermarkets in Sarawak but I am certain all food courts in hypermarkets in Klang Valley do not sell pork dishes. My last visit to one such food court was to Subang Jaya Carrefour. I craved for some pork servings but no...all the stalls only sold halal food. There was a stall called 'Chinese Muslim Noodle'. Obviously, no pork even though Chinese. ;) Also, there was another 'Chinese' stall selling 'chap fan' but manned by two makciks in tudungs. Obviously, it was another halal food stall. ;) So why now the hypocrisy in Sibu? Why the huge billboard with the message: Kampua Mee will not taste the same if one changes its recipe. Vote for BN to retain its orginal flavour.
I hope the Sibu Chinese, a majority of them being Foochow, will not be so blind as to fall into the 'kampua' trap!

because DAP doesnt benefit anything to sarawakian community. my village is sibu, i was born in sibu, and always go to sibu. so i know better than u all peninsular folks who thought they all expert in politics, but so sorry they're not. it just like singapore said that malaysia is not a democratic country, but in other hand, singapore only got 1 chair for opposition, over 300! pls, mind ur own state politics. do not mind ours. cheers!
Hi, lord. Whoever you are, thanks for comment. Yes, I may not be familiar with Sibu local affairs but I've the right to my own opinion as much as you have the right to yours. Also, in this posting, I was talking abt the right to eat pork in public food courts is taken away from us, Chinese. Maybe you're not Chinese and don't eat pork. Do you not know that pork is served next to halal food in hotels in Arab countries?
