The star witness in the Aminulrasyid Amzah shooting case said a steady stream of bullets had been let loose at the car he was in, during the fatal chase on April 26.
During examination-in-chief by DPP Idham Abd Ghani, Azamuddin Omar, who was a passenger in the car, said the shots had come in almost staccato fashion as the driver Aminulrasyid tried to shake off the pursuers.

Azamuddin disputed the final position in which Aminulrasyid's body was found in the white Proton Iswara that the latter was driving, after it crashed into a wall at the end of the car chase and said this was not as shown in the pictures taken by forensic police.

When shown the machete tendered as evidence and asked if he recognised the weapon, Azamuddin answered in the negative.
When asked if there was a machete in the car, he said "Saya rasa memang takde (I'm pretty sure there was none)."
