Last night, I chatted with a friend who wouldn't vote for a simple reason. It was as he said, 'lot of ghosts will come out to vote.' Thus, he has never registered to vote.
I don't blame him but he did say that he regretted it now.
We Chinese believe a lot in ghosts, don't we? Some go by the name of 'toh kwai' (gambling ghost), yin kwai (smoke ghost - refers to one who lights the cigarette often) and hamsap kwai (horny ghost).
Whatever ghost, if we come out in full force to vote, I believe we can do our part to beat the ghosts.
Incidentally, www.malaysiakini.com features a 'ghost' story today:
Nine buses stopped by PAS in T'ganu
