PKR is disappointed with those Section 23 residents who turned ‘unruly’ at last Saturday’s dialogue.
Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, in a statement today, said that some residents were not interested to talk in the first place and they “just wanted to act wildly” towards some of the panelists including Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, Shah Alam MP Khalid Samad and state exco Rodziah Ismail. She also quoted from a verse from the Quran that said Islam taught all human beings to respect others regardless their religion and race, so that they could learn about one another.
Sadly, this one incident has marred the image of peace-loving Muslims as a whole. As the saying goes, "One bad apple spoils the whole lot."
