Cops zoom in on Guan Eng
Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng has been told to contact the state police to fix a time and date for his statements to be recorded in relation to six reports against him.
According to the notice issued by the police, the probe is based on reports lodged in Penang with four counts of participating in an illegal assembly, one of violating the Sedition Act 1948 and three counts of criminal defamation. Lim's lawyer, Jagdeep Singh Deo, described the investigations as a form of harassment and told a press conference today, saying, "The police are listing six cases to be investigated. This clearly shows intention to harass the chief minister, but he will cooperate fully with the police."
Biasalah. If not harrasment, then what? Jagdeep said, "Many reports have been lodged against others - the prime minister, menteris besar and cabinet members...are the police investigating?" I can safely say or rather, needless to say, NFA by the police!" No Further Action as always!

Power to the Police! Have at it!
Come on, most everyone would like to have a unified and peaceful Malaysia. No doubt. But L.G.E.s denial of NOT originally canceling our Beloved Prophet's Birthday march, is 'probably' a lie on his (L.G.E.'s) account.
If you lived in Penang for any amount of time, you have seen the gradual "Chineseitization" of the State (Island, that is).
Yesterday, was a GREAT EXAMPLE, Chop Goh Mai. Not long ago, it was only about young ladies throwing oranges into the ocean.
NOW, OH MY, let's make CHINGAY...TWO!!!!!!!!!! What The ?
Could the current OPPOSITION Government be any more transparent about their intentions of making Penang into a place where the emphasis is placed on Chinese festivities?
Why is there no curb on burning HUGE Joss-sticks! It pollutes the environment - causes much more haze - depletes the ozone - causes more health problems for people with asthma - and why should other people of other religions be subject to breathing in joss stick smoke? AND, THEY ALWAYS STICK THESE HUGE ASSEMBLIES OF SMOKE STACKS HALF-WAY OUT IN THE FRIGG'EN ROAD CAUSING POTENTIAL TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS. Please, people, curb this, be more socially responsible for all Malaysian. OK.
Culture is one thing, but when it is done at the cost of other peoples of other religions and cultures; and then, something is really wrong! And that statement is meant for everyone, but we are discussing Penang here.
