Zulkifli Claims PKR Disciplinary Board Plans To Sack Him
KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 16 (Bernama) -- The Member of Parliament for Kulim-Bandar Baharu, Zulkifli Noordin, is questioning the motive of the Disciplinary Board of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) in fixing the date of the hearing on his case on Thursday when he would be in Korea to attend the International Leadership Conference.

To a question 'Which party is closest to your ideology?' that was posed to Zul in a recent interview with Malaysiakini, he replied, "I am not interested in political parties. I prefer Islamic-based NGOs because I know the world works like this: If you join an (opposition) political party, half of the Muslims will not be with you because they are with Umno.(It would be the same if you join Umno because half of the Muslims would be with opposition parties.) So (membership) would be a disadvantage."
