Did you know about the seven sayings of Jesus on the cross? They are are a traditional collection of seven short phrases that Jesus uttered at his crucifixion immediately before he died, gathered from the four Gospels.
The traditional order of the sayings is:
- Father forgive them, for they know not what they do (Luke 23:34).
- Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise (Luke 23:43).
- Woman, behold your son: behold your mother (John 19:26-27).
- Eli Eli lama sabachthani? ("My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?", Matthew 27:46 and Mark 15:34).
- I thirst (John 19:28).
- It is finished (John 19:30).
- Father, into your hands I commit my spirit (Luke 23:46).

Joshua,
Muslims too believe in Jesus. We believe he's the messiah (the christ), we believe he was born miraculously, we believe his mother Mary is a woman of the purest soul and we believe he can cure people and brought a dead man to live again by God's permission. There's even a whole chapter in the Quran by the name of him (Surah Isa) and another whole chapter about his mother (surah Mariam) to honour the two holy souls.
But we muslims are told he's not dead, he did not die on crucification, he did not die on the cross. He was not killed. God helped him escaped and other people was put there to resemble him and the jewish killed that man, not Jesus. Jesus is now in heaven and he will come down to fight the evil Gog and Magog. That's what the Quran tells us.
I suggest you read Jesus in Islam to have a new insight of what he is.
