Four 'rejects' sucked into Cabinet via senatorship!

Mini-cabinet reshuffle, four senators in

The three who will first be sworn in as senators:

One from PPP:
i. PPP senior vice-president Maglin Dennis D'Cruz (appointed deputy information, communications and culture minister)

Two from MCA:

i. Newly-minted MCA vice-president Donald Lim (appointed deputy finance minister)

ii. MCA vice-president Gan Ping Shou (appointed deputy youth and sports minister)

The fourth senator, MIC deputy-president G Palanivel has been made deputy plantation, industries and commodities minister, an additional post to the existing deputy Hamzah Zainudin.
