Will 1Malaysia PM do the right thing?

Ok, I just found out that the police have denied that song writer and young filmmaker Wee Meng Chee is under arrest, or that they are pursuing.

When contacted by Malaysiakini, Muar district police chief Mohammed Nasir Ramli said, "No, no, no. We are not going to arrest him."

Nasir confirmed that the police had indeed go to the youngster's house in Muar yesterday night, but said that it was for other purpose.

Before ending the telephone interview, he tersely said, "We just want to find out where he is."

Yeah, right. Nasir. How believable is that? Just to find out where he was? If he was in the house, then what? Just say 'Hi' and 'Bye'?!
