Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, Speaking at the Chinese Economic Congress in Kuala Lumpur, made several appeals today for the Chinese community to trust him as their leader who has their interests at heart and said like his predecessors, he is a leader for all Malaysians and would “chart the best possible future” for everyone.
To allay doubts over the government's commitment to reforming its policies and practices in order to attract greater local and foreign investments, Najib pointed to the New Economic Model, the 10th Malaysia Plan and the Government Transformation Plan and cited, in particular, the removal of the bumiputera ownership requirement, the plan to do away with the Foreign Investment Committee (FIC), and the announcement that all students who achieve 9A+ in their secondary school SPM exams be assured Public Services Department scholarships.
Oooo...ok lah....trust Najib. Give 1Malaysia a chance even though I just met a Chinese girl who scored 11 As in SPM two or three years ago but failed to get any scholarship until today whether from JPA or others.
Too bad for this girl! If only Najib was to succeed Dr M, and not Pak Lah, then probably, she would have gotten her scholarship that she so badly needed and still needs!
