Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim has been compared to a 'second-hand car' trying to shed a mangled past and refurbish himself as the new champion of all Malaysians. Recalling Anwar's statements while in government more than 10 years ago, Salleh Kalbi (BN-Silam) said the former deputy prime minister was in Parliament for the second time in his life and trying to 'deceive' the people in Sarawak and Sabah into seeing him as their saviour. Funny how our MPs run each other down in the august house.
If Anwar is a 'second-hand car', then I'd really like to think of Najib as a 'tainted Jeep' trying to go through the rough political terrain and get himself muddied by scandals.
How about Pak Lah? Not too difficult to guess. 'Junk car' lah. Who wants a 'junk car'? Total reject. So, there you have it. Anwar, a 'second-hand car'. Najib, a 'tainted Jeep' and Pak Lah, a 'junk car'. ;)
