Pak Lah: Always hoping, ever promising - www.malaysiakini.com

In a brief question-and-answer session with journalists after his 90-minute meeting with the Barisan Nasional component party leaders, Pak Lah said, 'I hope it is Najib.' when he was asked 'Who is your successor?' (Source: Malaysiakini)

This is one problem with Pak Lah - always hoping. Malaysians had a lot of hope in Pak Lah. We remember his famous catchphrase - 'Work with me, not for me.' Even Zaid Ibrahim was hopeful and wanted to work with Pak Lah. We all know that finally he broke up with Pak Lah. Hehe...

'I plan to complete my vision' is the title given by Malaysiakini for Pak Lah's press statement to announce his decision to step down next March. Before stepping down, he promises to table a Parliamentary Bill to establish a Judicial Appointments Commission and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission. Again, he's ever promising. I think his promise is too little too late. Tabling these two Parliamentary Bills is but the first step to reform...
