After much contemplation, I've decided to subscribe to Malaysiakini. Getting a 'FREE' trial from my friend helped me to decide even sooner.
So, what's the top news in Malaysiakini now? All eyes on PM as he weighs his options. Well, basically, he only have two options - to stay or to quit. Hehe...
Interestingly, a party insider told Malaysiakini about the early exit - “It was designed to give Pak Lah an honourable exit,” said the party insider. “The grassroots don’t want him to stay because they don’t think he can contain Anwar Ibrahim. But we cannot be seen to be pushing him out. That’s not in our Malay culture, so we have to compromise.”
Poor Pak Lah, he really has no choice, does he? To put in a not-so-nice way, he's being 'fixed' by his own people! It's so obvious that he's being pushed 'gracefully' when the original exit plan was 2010.
