'Change has come to America'. These were the words uttered by Barack Obama as he addressed the United States for the first time as the president-elect. "The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even one term, but America - I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there. "I promise you - we as a people will get there," he said at a victory rally in Chicago which was telecasted live around the world. (Source: 'Change has come to America' - Malaysiakini)
Americans, like Malaysians, have longed for change. Obama's win is the voice of the people. Earlier this year, I asked a friend familiar with American politics if Obama could 'beat' Hilary Clinton. He answered convincingly, 'America will not have a first black president before having a first woman president.' Personally, I don't follow American politics closely but I pick up pieces of it here and there. A rumour says Obama is half a Muslim? I thought to myself, 'Who cares?' Can a half-Muslim-and-liberal President be worse than a linked-to-Altantuya-murder Prime Minister?

Barrack Obama, 2008. prsident elect of the USA.
The reality is, his father is black, his mother is white and he is a Christian and off course he is brilliant.
Just put that in Malaysia, father Indian/Chinese or others and mother Malay and religion Islam, so we had beaten the USA CHANGE, YES, we can, in the person named MAHATHIR
Americans don't simply choose a president just because he's black
They merely exercise democracy and elect who they think is best
In exercising their basic fundamental rights there is no slack
After the big election they still put the president to the test
