Former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has shot down suggestions that the March 8 general election signaled the end of race-based politics. On the contrary, said Mahathir, if one examines the opposition parties who made big gains in the general election, it would appear that these parties were largely race-based...Mahathir then began to dissect PKR and DAP to prove his point. The DAP, he described as a Chinese-based party which had some "window dressing and decorations, just to make it look nice". "Keadilan consists of all people. Keadilan is Islamic, it is also Hindraf, it is also Chinese educationist. Everything," he said, adding that the party had "many faces". (Mahathir: Race-based politics still relevant - Malaysiakini)
DAP may be a Chinese-based party but it is not a party for the Chinese like MCA. Can a Malay or Indian join MCA? No. Keadilan is living up to its name - justice. If Keadilan had a recruitment campaign, its slogan should be - 'Now everyone can join!' PAS is for Muslims but not raced-based. I am sure PAS will accept any Muslim regardless of race as its member - even Mamak Mahathir! 8-|

This mamak racist is no longer relevant. Stupid fools listen to him as umno goons do. A biased comment, always blaming the non-malays whenever racial sentiments raised. Blaming the non-malays not willing to drop or give up their ancestral cultures and identities for the sake of Bangsa Malaysia. C'mon, why not looking at this issue from the opposite perspective? Are the malays willing to drop their own racial and religious cultures that are often very offending to non-malays with the deafening shouts of 'Ketuanan Melayu', 'Bumiputra' and the unfair practices of racial discrimination, be it in the social, educational and economic policies? It is so simple to understand that it takes two hands to clap. You have to give some in order to take some. So the pots, please don't ever call the kettles black, period.
