Day 1: Two days ago, I dialed 100 from my office (shhh, no one is supposed to know) to report the faulty fixed line in my house. At the end of the call, I asked when Telekom would send the techician to check the line. 'Within 24 hours,' the customer service officer (cso) told me. No technician came.
Day 2: Yesterday, I dialed 100 from my office (shhh, no one is supposed to know) at about 10 AM. I informed that the technician had not come to my house. I heard the cso telling me that the socket had been changed. I asked for the time the technician came to my place. She said 9 something. I went home later at night. Asked my mom if the technician came, she said no. I was mad.
Day 3: This morning, I dialed 100 from my office (shhh, no one is supposed to know). I asked for status. This time, the cso told me I had to buy the socket and fix it! I asked her if the technician had come to my house to check. She said no. I asked how then the technician knew the socket was faulty. She gave the reason that the line from outside to my house was not faulty.
I almost exploded.
I asked again, 'How do you know if the technician did not come? Are you 100% sure that the socket is faulty?
'Yes,' she said.
'So, if I buy the socket, fix it and the phone still doesn't work, then how?'
'Ok, please wait...' She put me on hold. 'Ok, we will send the technician to your house.'
I was very much relieved to hear that but I still had to ask, 'So, when will the technican come?'
She gave the standard answer, 'Within 24 hours...'

typical telekom. this isn't as bad as my streamyx bill which is now red threatening to sue if we don't pay when we had actually disconnected service since july...??
