Lost & Found - first the mother, then the son.

I posted 'Lost & Found' last year:
Victor, my good friend, came to visit.

He shared with us his testimony how he reached out to the mother of his colleague, Wilson. For many years, she was very much troubled by her son's habitual gambling and borrowing money from illegal moneylenders aka Ah Longs.

Victor asked God for wisdom to talk to the sixty-something-year-old lady. He challenged her to believe in Jesus since she had not seen her 'gods' answering her prayers to change her son.

Though she didn't accept Christ at that time, God worked through her real estate negotiator who was engaged to sell her house to settle her son's debt. The real estate negotiator, a Christian himself, preached the gospel to her and she accepted Christ. Victor was happy that he sowed the seed and someone else reaped the harvest. Thank God for His grace and mercy.
Last night, I called Victor. He said, 'Wilson accepted Christ.' I was thrilled to hear the good news.

Then, another voice greeted me. 'Hello...' I was surprised to hear that familiar voice. Obviously, it was Wilson's. I greeted back, 'Hello, yehso chai (meaning Jesus' bro in Cantonese).'

We exchanged a few words and ended our chat, hoping to meet for yum cha one of these days. 8)
